I just told the desk clerk I need a plastic sheet for the bed, they went out and bought one and brought it to my room. The clerk ( young lady of about 25) volunteered to help put it on, but I refused as I was in my bathrobe and didn't think it would be proper. Most hotels/motels are prepared for a request like this. I wouldn't worry about it, jsut ask. I also use plastic pants and diapers at night, at home it's cloth diapers, but then I travel I use disposables.
