I asked my doctor about your suggestion several years ago. This was a popular was to help stop people from bedwetting. But unfotunately, this was not the way to go. It did more harm than good. Depriving the kidneys of fluid was a sure way to have kidney problems in the future. My doctor says to make sure I drink plenty of fluids, but not over do it. I still we the bed no matter when I stop drinkinfg fluids. He also suggested to fully empty my bladder prior to going to bed at night. I have tried all the suggestions , but to no avail. Medications are the next way to go, but I don't want to choose that route, due to the cost and side effects, so I am destined to wear diapers and plastic pants to bed at night
