I suggest you determine just how much capacity you need, based on the amount of urine you produce in the length of time you wish to remain in a single diaper. With bowel incontinence, I believe you need to change within minutes in order to avoid a rash, so the frequency of your bowel movements may determine how long you can use a diaper. American diapers are desinged to be changed every hour or two. Others may be designed for greater capacity. I'm bladder incontinent only, and must change every 8 to 12 hours in order to avoid a rash. The disposables I use are Molicare Super, thick style with a booster pad, and now Abena Abriform X-plus without a booster pad. The Abena will last me 12 hours or longer, so I now change twice per day and remain free of diaper rash.
