A friend of mine has a similar problem. He has a sleeping disorder and often does strange things in his sleep, and this sometimes includes taking his nappy (he wets the bed due to his sleeping disorder) off in the middle of the night. His wife (who is a light sleeper and usually wakes up if she hears him moving) puts another nappy on him and directs him back into bed.
