You are possibly adding to the stress he is suffering in being somewhat critical or less than understanding when he has these bouts of bedwetting. He cannot help it and it is better for him to wear a disposable nappy at night than for both of you to wake up in a wet (and probably cold) bed. I have been a bedwetter myself for most of my life and have never been dry for more than a week or two at a time. I have had to learn to live with it. I am single but if I find myself with a man and going to spend the night with him, I am open about my problem. If it is my place, there is less of a problem as I have a plastic cover on the mattress with an old absorbent towel over that and, I have a supply of nappies. If his place, well I must admit that most fellows do not have plastic covers and do not fancy their nice mattresses being soaked. That has inhibited me from going back with a man to his place. Hope that is of some help |
