I found your first sentence the most interesting because it is the SAME thing that happened to me. I started wetting my bed shortly after having wet dreams (nocturnal emissions) and I always wondered if there was a connection. Since I never knew what an orgasm felt like, the one in my first wet dream (when I was 14) felt a lot like peeing. There was a girl in the dream, but only holding, no sex. The dream DID feel good, but in a relaxing way, like I had to pee bad and coudn't control it happening, so it just flowed out. It was very slow and long, gentle, and the stream of pee kept stopping and starting again, which I thought was odd. I woke up thinking I wet my bed but I didn't except for a semen stain on my underwear and sheets. Before I had this dream I tried masturbating with no luck - I didn't know what was supposed to happen! When I heard about wet dreams I thought that it would be like wetting my bed, so I was afriad of them. Also I think this started me actually wetting my bed. The problem started when I began having similar dreams of peeing, but, instead of having another wet dream which I THOUGHT I was having, I woke up having actually wet my bed! My worst nightmare happened! Unfortunately this embarrassing thing continued, but only once or twice a week, when I'd have the dream. Sadly, the REAL wet dreams stopped until all I had were the bedwetting accidents. My solution was the way I stopped my nightmares from childhood. I would become aware of the sensations to pee before the dream and use that as a trigger to wake myself up. This was hard for a few times, but suddenly whenever I felt like I was going to pee or orgasm I would snap awake like a reflex! As a result, I haven't wet my bed in over a year! The sad thing, though, is that my wet dreams have stopped too. That is not a side effect I wanted, but my brain can't sem to tell the difference so I wake up before anything happens. Oh well. I was wondering if your situation was like I described, and if you have had any luck controlling it since them. Also, do you remember your dreams? If so, what are they like? DO you confuse a wet drean with a bedwetting dream? Can you feel the sensations of wetting? DO you still have wet dreams or just bedwetting? So many questions, but I was excited to find someone with an experience like mine. Good luck! If you want to write to me, my email is: jac12358@ix.netcom.com Jim |
