Re: Dan "Adults do not wet 24/7" - Let me correct you on that. Strange as it may seem some Adults do wet 24/7 and not just from injuries in the gulf war. The only difference is in children they call it enuresis in adults it is called incontinence (although bedwetting is known as nocturnal enuresis either way). There are 3 different forms of wetting during the day for adults (and I used to know someone who wet during the day as I went in Boots to buy some disposables for night and she was in there buying disposables for day - strange how you meet up!). There is stress, urge and another one I can't think of the name for, with stress, you sometimes wet yourself when sneezing or coughing or getting excited about something (I know this can sound strange but it does affect adults). Urge, you suddenly get the urge to go the bathroom and if you can't find one fast enough then you go in your pants (I had this happen once when I was coming back from Preston going to Warrington. I got on the bus to Wigan and was dying for the loo in Wigan then I went to the toilet only to find out that they locked it to stop vandals so as I ran around trying to find an alternative toilet the urge just gave in and I had wet my pants and had to walk round Wigan for an hour trying to dry off b4 boarding the bus to Warrington), and the third type of day time wetting adults have is where you store a more wee than your bladder can hold and then the body just releases it all in one go. So I hope this sets it straight that some adults do wet themselves 24/7 not just those injured in the war see www.incontact.org.uk for more details. Some people also think that dribble is a form of wetting during the day but unless it's none stop dribble then I would say it isn't really.
