Hi everybody. My name's Amanda. I found this site looking for a solution to my... problem. I'm kinda nervous to talk about this, but I guess if everyone else is brave enough on here, then I will be. I don't really know what to say, but since I like writing, I'll just tell the story...I was sitting at my computer yesterday in just my t-shirt and my underwear (my computer's in my room, and it gets really hot at our house because my mom turns the heat way up so I was trying to get cooled off) Well, I was just checking my e-mail when all of a sudden, I realized I was peeing! I cupped my hand over myself, but it started going through my fingers! I panicked. I grabbed a balled-up sock off my floor, stuffed it in my underwear hoping it would absorb some of the pee, and ran to my bathroom, but by that time I had totally soaked myself. I cried for a minute, then decided that I needed to take a shower. So I took one, stuck my wet panties and the sock in my dirty clothes, then went and washed all the clothes in the basket. And that's what happened. I didn't even hafta go! It scared me. Nothing like that has ever happened before. Sometimes I do get really strong urges that I hafta go, but I've never done it on myself. I have more problems than any bedwetter could imagine,I wet and poop in bed,my mom makes me wear goodnights and plastic pullup pants,when I'm asleep at night I have no control over my bladder or bowels,it's a little unbearable but I've gotten used to it,my doc says it will go away,but this has been happening for 6 years after I was severely beat up at school,I was punched and kicked repeatedly in the lower extremities of my belly and lower,went to the emergency room afterwards,but they said that they could not find any permanant injury,signed the papers and let me go,told me to wear diapers until the problem dissappeared,Is their anyone else in my age range with this severe problem,write me at nolanrivercatfish@usa.net

Just an idea here, since the parents BB doesn't get used much, why not make it an adults BB and leave this one to the kids. Isn't that what this site is for? I know they mean well, but if a new kid comes here and reads all these old people posting, will they try to make friends here? This is hard to suggest, because Jaime sounds really nice and I don't want to offend anyone. Still, the more adults that post here, the less kids that do. If I'm wrong, I'm sorry, just tossing an idea around.

Well, bedwetting is nothing you should be ashamed of, I used to do it up until I was 14 or 15... ( I forget which ). There is a nasal spray you can get from the doctor which will sometimes stop the problem. Also things llike only drinking water in the afternoon, and nothing after 6 - and making sure you use the bathroom before you go to bed can help ( well they sure helped me ). If your peeing through the day, then really in my humble opinion, you should be being a little more controlled... - But of course there are times when you cant control it. Also - if your being bullied at school... that can also be a strong contributing cause... So trying to prevent the bulllying can help. No person should be treated like a baby - if you have to wear diapers - then so be it... but Really.. if your parents are treating you like a 2 year old - you should see your college / school Counseller (excuse the spelling), because honestly, thats just out of it, and could quite honestly be causing some of the problem.
