Reply from Mr John, Child's Age 13/11/7/5/4 - 1/4/03 - IP#: 63.208.60.197Dear Maggie: As I was writing post next above, you must have slipped this one in. When I sent it to board, I naturally saw yours and here I am. I have not looked at the poll tabulations(and I rarely do,if ever). Though I suspect the polls are not accurately reflecting the responses, they usually are satisfactorily correct enough to give you an idea of the trend. Here is my opinion. I would rather believe the polls to be close enough to the true condition. That is to say(paradoxically speaking)that the phrase "No child wets the bed on purpose" is just so much rhetoric that fits the circumstances of the discussion. Confusing??? Yeah, I guess so. Let's put it another way. Expert or non-expert in using this phrase is being very subjective, with personal prejudice towards the condition. This is what he wants to believe......I want to thank you again Maggie for your comment to Sharon and this gives me the opportunity. It also inspired me to write her as I did. Hope you look at post next above....Mr j |
