JEENA: Wouldn't want you to come up short on packing and getting ready for you upcoming ski trip. So I am, with your permission, going to offer a comment to your request.....Absolutely, do not be self-conscious. DO, under the circumstances, arrange for your daughter to wear a diaper as you see the need for it. That is one good idea to have a diaper on under ski outfits, pretty much all the time while at the resort and lodge.Use your judgement on whether to get her some training pants with plastic outer layer to back up the diaper. She could also use these for traveling....Then ABOUT CHANGES, do this. I would get a handy diaper bag(not expensive one)to carry all her items and changes, even other little necessities that little girls need to feel good. Or she could have a small case with a handle or a gym bag. Take the diapers she will need, wipes, maybe a small towel, etc. in the bag or case and march right into the restroom and do the change without thinking anymore about it. You may need a pad or larger towel should you find an alternate place to put on a fresh diaper. Maybe Daddy might do a change and could carry the bag along without feeling embarrassed. I tell you, there is nothing unusual today about this. Your daughter could carry the bag or case herself, though you may prefer to handle it yourself, especially if you fill a bag more than you intended. Should you be flying, make sure you have the bag as a carry-on. Have it with you on the plane and accessable if you are in a car driving. repeat.... because of the contents, do not check it nor lose sight of it. Back to the changing scene, you or Dad should go about the matter as if noone else is around. Both you and your daughter should just go about the task with a matter-of-fact attitude and remain calm and comfortable, just like at home. Have any questions? Get them back before you get too busy readying for the trip. Have a wonderful time and for your daughter HUGS.....Mr j
