How does anyone know whether a post is one that they would want to read until after they have read it?! Either you're going to read none of them or your're going to read all of them -- and then find out too late that some of them were posts that are objectionable. Let's not forget that this web site is for kids too. Even though this particular board is for parents, children have access to all the boards on the site. Kids who are bedwetters and want only to engage in serious exchanges with others in the same situation do not need to be assaulted by some of the things that are said in some of the posts. And don't say the kids can just avoid the parents' board. If they go to the website, they are probably going to check out the parents' board out of curiosity. There shouldn't be any problem with that. But unfortunately, there is. And the people who defend the nonsense are as bad as the people who post it. |
