Karly: I know it is much too late to help your daughter directly in response to your inquiry, as that was last week. Like the post above yours, it saddens me that you may not have a solution to your daughter's dilema. But for her and all the other swimmers with like perplexities, I am going to suggest something which I hope will help. This is not my own answer entirely, but only part of it is such....A youngster suggested that a regular swimsuit be worn over the swim diaper, just make sure the outer swimsuit be large enough to fit over the under swim diaper. What seems to me a problem is that the swim diapers I have seen on websites appear to be somewhat bulky, even though they do their job ok. ie. not meant to be one of two garments. That is, what I have seen in the US and Canadian markets like Gabby's and 1 or 2 others. Now, in my surfing about for my own purposes, I ran across the Baby Weenees and Little and Big Eenees, made and sold out of Australia. They have some great looking products that your daughter would love and which I believe would be just the thing for wearing under a outer swimsuit. Remember, I have no personal experience with these, have never seen one in-hand, but look appropriate in a picture as well as description. They are worth a try at least in my opinion. I had come upon them earlier when looking at distributors for such products....Of course, if the school furnishes swimsuits, some sort of understanding must be arranged to allow for the special circumstances involved. I don't see a need to tell a fib, as at least one person suggested to get out of swimming, or to get excused from the activity when a youngster such as your daughter(or son if such applies) might well enjoy the activity and comradie with their friends. Just had to offer this observation cos I could see a possibility here for a successful way to help the students enjoy the experiences they were meant to have. Finally, you can access Eenies.com by way of tis-group which links to Tri-state Incontinence which has alot of good information and scrolls down to many, many vendors of products along this line. A great help!!! Need more specifics?? Call for help. Will do what I can. Swimming season is coming anyway and you can use the garments that I think your daughter might like. Good shopping and let us know how it all goes.....Mr j
