Beth, My understanding of ADD is that a child has great difficulty remaining focused on a particular task. This could be contributing to his day wetting, he doesn't pay enough attention to the full bladder signal to get to the bathroom on time. He might also not pay attention to the wet diaper feeling and just stay wet until someone changes him or tells him to change himself. If his wetting is related to his ADD, you might try to get some help from his teachers. Explain to them that his wetting is caused by his ADD and ask them to remind him to use the bathroom frequently during the day, watch for signs that he may need to go, and to discretely ask or check if he is wet every now and then. If he is wet he should be sent to the school nurse (or someone else) for changing. He might be able to handle changing himself, but with his ADD he may need help or supervision. A pull-up like Goodnights would make changing himself easier.
