Hi Beth. I've got a son aged 10. He is diagnosed ADHD, which means he has got both the concentration problens and hyperactivity. He's on medication which helps him concentrate better. He has been a bedwetter all his life, he was doing ok at days, but we hat to remind him about using the bathroom, otherwise he would forget. The last half year however, he has had daytime problems as well. The problems started as he had a growing period and we had to adjust the medication. He is not aware he needs to go and it doesnt seem he really cares when he has had an accident either. After a few weeks with daytime accidents he agreed to wearing pull ups to school and away from home to protect him from visible accidents and being teased by his classmates. At school the teachers aid reminds him to use the bathroom and helps if he has had an accident. At home he is ok not wearing, we remind him to use the bathroom. Being calm and supportive about the problem seem to work best. But as u wrote in your post about your son, my son is obviously not ready to handle this himself yet.
