Reply from Tom.UK, Child's Age 10/15/19 - 3/26/03 - IP#: 62.252.32.6Cindy The strategy the other Tomdescribed could be used but if she does have a small bladder I would still use the strategy you were implementing calling her in every 90 minutes or so in order to try and condition her if you have success with 90 minute intervals leave it to every 2 hrs she needs to be conditioned to realise that her span in between times to use the toilet needs to be controled to save her from wetting her self alternatively the other solution is a satisfactory one however takeing away tv although is a privelage unless she does it on purpose which from what you said I dont think she does then you cannot punish a child if she cannot help it! and smacking is definately not a constructive deterent either I KNOW YOU DONT SMACK HER for it but some people do and it is counter productive and what you were doing was the right thing calling her in! .if that failed I would try the strategy The other Tom has suggested!.best wishes Tom.Uk |
