I have no children but I am still a bedwetter. I personally don't see a problem with using diapers on anyone who still wets. My mother had a theory that as long as I was still wetting (day or night)I would be in a diaper. Think about it. You wouldn't take a small child out of day diapers until they are potty trained. Even during the potty traing they are wearing some type of absorbant training pant. When they go a few days with dry trainers. They go to underwear. Same would apply to nighttime. When the diapers are dry in the mornings. Then take them out of night diapers. People think that someone would learn night control if they had to endure wet beds and pjs. I don't think that is true. No one trys that during day potty training! Personally, I believe disposable diapers are the problem in acheiving day/night continence. Disposables don't feel wet to the wearer. A cloth diaper feels wet and can be uncomfortable to the wearer and can help them in learning control. Stick with the cloth diapers for your bedwetter. A disposable could prolong the bedwetting. Just my 2 cents based on personal experience.
