There should be several signs to indicate whether he wet the bed or not. If there is no waterproof cover on his mattress there would be stains and a urine odor where it was wet. The sheet would also be stained if it was not changed, even if it had dried. And most of all would be the odor of urine in the room. Use of air fresheners might get rid of the odors, but probably not the stain on the mattress. If he did wet the bed you may need to protect the mattress, which will probably require you to at least mention it to him. If it wasn’t bedwetting, wet underwear may or may not be an accident. If you choose to mention it you might suggest that if he has any future accidents that he rinse out the wet underwear before putting them in the hamper to help reduce odors. |
