Dear Counterpart Tom , it is Understandable that a 15 year old is depressed about his problem you would be if you had it! but i commend you for trying to uplift his spirits as a careing parent at least you have not shouted at him as some parents may do !. There is no Short amswer to this sometimes at 15 there hormones begin to change and that can cause problems he could be nervous about exams and that can cause problems I would get your wife or who ever is the closest to him and Try(I say Try as not always a 15/16 yr old will sit down and talk!) and see if anything is troubling him if as you said there is nothing physically wrong tell him there are literally thousands of people perhaps millions of people in the same predicument as him reassurance with love understanding that eventually things will turn out right!T.L.Cis the order of the day . he sid if people may find out that he has a diaper on and they may ridicule him that is not pleasant i must admit but you must explain to him if they do do that then 1. they are not very good friends and 2 it is down to their parenting and they dont know no different!I KNOW THAT MY SON WHO IS 15 wouldntmake fun of him!but we live in the u.k!and he has a special needs younger brother whom he would protect if someone made remarks about him. my younger son who is special needs was in diapers 24/7 till he was 8 and although my now 15 yr old couldnt understand why he couldnt use the toilet like him he just accepted it!. so tell him he is Not on his own! it is not a crime he cannot be put in prison for it ! hope this is of help to you! best wishes , Tom.UK
