Reply from Mr John to TOM, Child's Age xx - 12/2/02 - IP#: 63.208.47.76Tom: You sure were forthright in this post to Jennifer. I do not feel it was deserved by her. I know you have your own philisophical views on such matters and that is OK, fine and dandy. As a matter of fact, try as I may, I am unable to respond to your earlier post of the items that upset you in this website. I am sure that Americans are indeed more open, as you hinted, but the problems and responses seem to be the same on both sides of the pond....Back to Jennifer, her response at first was to Jill's inquiry about leaking diapers. There was no other question. Jen merely expanded her reply to explain her predicament, as Jen had talked with and prepared her son for the day forward when their diaper order would arrive. Jen was doing everything the same as many of parents on or off the website have done or are doing to resolve this uncomfortable situation for child and parent. The youngster was apparently so upset that Jen had to resort to something that would settle him down, which turned out to be successful under trying circumstances. I don't think anyone can glean any advice from Jennifer's story, and I am sure that Jennifer could not expect somebody to use it as such. It does point out nevertheless that certain situations can get rather hectic. In my estimation, Jennifer just needed to tell her story, for she is prideful of her 11 year old son. |
