Pam, my first post is for the individual named "Sal". It surely doesn't apply to your post. Since I'm a life long bedwetter, I can tell you that there are many reasons for starting wetting at age 17. I suspect that this is only something that has just started happening and is infrequent. I don't wish to alarm you. However I have some friends that have had the same thing happen to them. The cause was alcohol. At 17 years of age we sometimes mess with things that we aren't supposed to use and our bodies are not use to it. Its just a thought of mine and if its the case, I doubt that your kid will fess up to it. Or, it might be the start of a bladder infection. Hope I helped.
