John, For what it's worth, I agree with Patrick that you shouldn't be so hard on some of these responses. Many (though, from what I've seen, unfortunately not all) of the parents who come to this site actually care about what their kids think about whether they should be diapered and so forth, and having a teenager contribute his/her own perspective could provide very valuable insight for those who genuinely want to include their kids in making decisions on this subject. Although not a parent myself, I have worked a lot with youth and frankly it scares me how some parents (btw, I'm NOT referring now to Britney, but some others I've seen here that I will not name) seem to want treat their teenage children as babies, which is not a constructive approach whether the wetting is deliberate or not. Older children and teenagers need their parents to teach them how to make their own decisions as much as possible rather than forcing them into things, and in many of these cases professional counseling may be helpful for everyone involved to get a better handle on the situation. Patrick: I, for one, think it's great that you are willing to post your experiences here, and I'm sure a lot of parents are grateful for it too. Keep it up!
