sarah ,I was a scout leader in the uk and when we went to camp we had children who bed wet and of course if they wore protection then we use to tell them to go to the bathroom or toilet tent to take it off however if there was a child who could not manage this then a female member of staff wwould take them aside out of the sight of other children and see to their needs ! no child ever got made fun of!.
