I agree with Bob. I have had some experience with this. It is called Encopresis. Have the doctor check him for it which may mean that an xray may be necessary. If it is Encopresis then you are in for a prolonged period of time in correcting it. By the way, punishments would not be one of the ways of helping to correct it.
