John, do you think that I am worrying unnecessarily about my son’s behaviour? Should I let him continue to change into a nappy so early in the evening, and wet it before bedtime, when he feels the need to go? Perhaps I am a bit old fashioned, but it certainly rang alarm bells in my head when I observed that he had wet his nappy while sitting watching TV, especially as some people who have posted here have raised the possibility of teenage boys acquiring a nappy fetish. When it is your own son, perhaps you tend to worry too much and imagine the worst, but I would suspect that your response also applies to Beth’s post, as our respective sons seem to be behaving similarly.
