Diapers worked great in my situation mom put one on me at bedtime or later when I was about 8 I could even put a diaper on my self. It was easy to figure out once you knew where to tape the 1st side then pull the 2nd tight. Or if you had to go just carefully pull one side off then you could drop down your diaper and go then pull it back up and refasten the tape. I can’t think of anything wrong with my being kept in diapers at night it saved laundry I could sleep more conformably wake up dry. The diaper felt a little damp in the morning but not terribly wet maybe an occasional leak if I had something to drink the night before. The only complaint I have is that sometimes when I would forget to go to the bathroom before bed and mom sometimes she would not me get up to go. Times when she had people over or for what ever reason she didn’t want me getting up she would say that’s too bad get back in bed. I would have to hold till I fell asleep or when I had to go real bad I would have to go in my diaper. I used to hate it when that happened. Also Friday or Saturday nights about once a month in the summer we would go to the drive in theater. We would put on our pajamas and diaper so we could get in bed or if I fell asleep at around the start of the second movie or so I thought. We always went to snack bar before the show started so about ½ way through the 1st movie I always had to go. But the bathroom was closed after the movie started or that is what mom said. Mom told me its ok you have a diaper on just go in your diaper and we’ll change it when we get home. Sounds simple enough but I never liked just going in my diaper so I always sat there holding my legs together potty dancing and holding as long as I could. For me that is 5 maybe 8 minutes at best. My mother just recently told me that she knew I would drink something from the snack bar and have to go in the middle of the movie. That’s why she would just put a diaper on me when we went to the drive in so she would not have to take me to the bathroom. (Thanks mom for all the years of therapy.) Mom is only 14 ½ years older than I am and our relationship is unusual and very complicated. I am grateful to her for life. I say this only because from time to time I may share things that happened with my mom that show her to be mean or even abusive but there is a lot more to our relationship. I don’t have a problem with diapers being used other than bed time its a little UN comfortable at 1st when you 1st wet but after the diaper soaks up more you don’t hardly notice that your wet. Mom stopped using diapers on me every night when I was about 8 ½ after that I only used a diaper when away from home until I was about 10 ½ years old. I remember it was embarrassing to put on a diaper after being out of them for about a year. First of all you have a bulky diaper between your legs and diapers make noise when you walk around or move even slightly so everyone knows you have a diaper on. Diapers have a certain smell that used to as I remember stimulated my memory so it was strangely familiar to put on a diaper again. To finish let me say diapers worked fine for me as they were used. I would advise caution however on any use of diapers after 8 years and based on what I read here I don’t ever think I would put a child back in diapers later. Never around puberty don’t even use anywhere near that age. I never developed an unusual attachment but I and a lot of women in my family start to develop late I started at 13 years until I noticed any sign of estrogen swelling in my chest area. Where I was at 13 ½ years could be where another child is at about 9 years old. A fetish seems to develop at or around puberty and once triggered it is very hard or impossible to reverse. Steph :)
