robert he has incontinence and you are going to have to tell him that sure it will be embarrassing to wear diapers but think of the fact that you wet your pants and mess in them id think that he will soon agree with you and then please do not get him the attends line of products they are perfumed and he will be surely teased my recommendation is in two forms depends regular fitted briefs for the day and the depends overnight for the overnight periods, this will be better if you pre talk to the peditrician first and then as he goes into the exam room have the doc have one of these there so the doc can help him with any questions and the doc can help him trying it on and have a discussion about the wetting and messing and after that have the doc do a regular exam on him and after a while of being n the diaper he will probably forget he is wearing it and finish the exam and have places to go and people to see to have him build up his confidence up of having to wear the diapers it is goinghe will say i want to stay in the car but tell him i need you to help me do some shopping at the mall or at a local walmart or kmart maybe to buy his first two bags of depends. and go to families homes and/or friends homes. this is going to be tough at first but hey there is a old saying that is called tough love and you will have to be firm with him. id pre talk to his teachers and principal and have them understand his problem and get him a excusal from any p.e. classes and whatnot you could do the p.e. classes at night just take him to a local health club and or the local ymca for physical activity. get the instruction from the p.e instructor as what you should be doing with him as far as activities. hope this helps you out.
