Mark when I was little till about 8 1/2 I had to wear a diaper at night for my bedwetting problem. That was my parents decision to make not mine at that age. when I was 8 1/2 years old the youngest sibling was potty trained and I stopped wearing diapers at night not because I stopped wetting but because that is what Mom decided for me. Sometimes after that when I was away from home my Mom or dad or maybe even some other adult would tell me to put on a diaper. Tell me not ask it was decided for me by those in authority. At home I had a plastic cover on my bed but when staying with someone or at a hotel protection was needed. I used diapers when away until I think I was 10 1/2 was the last time I remember. After that they could manage my problem by nothing to drink after dinner go to the bathroom before bed and waking me to go again about 11:00 PM. When I 1st read of teenagers who had to wear diapers my reaction was no way I would have done that. But after thinking about it I would have done as I was told because it was their decision to make not mine. Only after age 18 do we get to do what we want with in reason. Until then our parents decide things for us or they decide how much to give us control over based on their wisdom and experience because they have lived longer than the kids.
