I can remember my childhood quite well, and I can assure you I didn't wet the bed on purpose, and wanted to be dry. It wasn't from laziness; I simply slept deeply, and had a major problem my parents should have discovered. Please examine your child's emotional state carefully. If you believe there is much anger there, or stress, or anything that just doesn't seem right other than that the child continues to sleepwet, then try to rectify that other problem first. Also, examine the foods your child eats and drinks. Caffein and alcohol are known to increase the chances of incontinence. Food allergies also can do the same.
