I have a 7 year old son who still poops in his pants for no apparent reason. He was totaly potty trained at 2 and half years of age and he liked being a big boy. He used to tell me everytime he went poop and we would say Hooray! Then one day he started going off and hiding, Pooping in his pants. The smell does not bother him. He is bothered everytime someone says he smells. I took him off diapers when he was going into kindergarden and told him that he was big not a baby and that he has to stop but all that led to was him trying to hold it in. His body naturaly is trying to rid of the waste which makes him mess his pants all day long. I now have him in pull ups and in thearpy. I took him to our family doctor and there is no sign of anything physical... I just wrote this reply because I like you am looking for answers and I thought it would be helpful to let you know that other children are pooping in their pants for no apparent reason.. My thoughts are with you and I welcome any advice. ~Jenny~
