stephanie, randy's suggestion is all fine but with the new air security regulations in force right now i would strongly suggest getting the diapers anyway. I'm sorry but this is going to be the best for all involved. With flight attendants skittish about someone sneezing wrong and a passenger getting up to stretch his/her legs to avoid getting DVT and or someone for medical reasons has to stand up and walk. Listen I am a 24-7 diaper user and a VERY frequent flier the airlines and the fed's are not making it easy on anyone who is incontinent. before i had to wear diapers 24-7 i was on a flight from minneapolis to washington national airport. we were told we could not leave our seat, well my bladder just went i was wet beyond belief and i was lucky to have all of my clothes in my carry on so i rushed off the plane to the nearest bathroom and changed to my spare pants from my bag. so what i did right away when i got to the hotel room is i went out to the local drugstore and bought depends for the return trip home. get the diapers and save the embarrasment, tell your child it is not the end of the world and as soon as you get to the hotel or home you can take the diaper off.
