First of all ,My first language is dutch,so please do excuse my english. well, there is nothing wrong with it my daughters are bedwetting and wear diapers and plastic panties when they go to bedwe don't make a big fuzz about it. I never forced them into diapers;they both always agreed that anything is better than waking up in a soaked bed. my 11 years old looses sometimes a little during day time, so she wears a plastic panty with a thin layer every day . if your child needs to do so , don't make them wear those crakky, baggy, bulky plastic pants, they show off and look really embarressing. There is a brand -SUPRIMA- (ALSO AVAILABLE IN THE U.K.)whosell plasticpanties especially for youth in aal kinds of nice colours ,and -most important of all- they fit almost like regular cotton underwear,snug and they don't wick , exept that they are made out of PVC. they feel soft ,and look really nice on my daughter. I recommand them . My daughter loves to wear them under dresses and skirts( of course with a regular underpantie over it)because they don't show off. She always wears two over each other for security reasons. A tip: to avoid showing off under trousers and blue jeans she never puts on regular underpants,when she did, thik rims showed off at the legs,this did not look like normal underwear any more. So she puts on only the plastic pantie with the thin in-layer- of course the leg-elastics can be seen a bit but it looks not different from regular underwear.
