Dear Mumhaving a weak bladder is quite a common thing in puberty you say she will leave things till its too late that is common in teenagers however it can be lazyness on her part however punishment is the wrong course of action ask her do she like wetting her self see what response you getif she says no then you as a parent must try and help her to get to the toilet on time keep reminding her try to get a pattern more or less treat her as a younger child by that I mean reminders to go to the toilet tell her you go to the toilet on a regular basis when you feel the urge to go, with your daughter that urge signal is not there it will void so you have to get her into a pattern as if she does not then her bladder fills and leaks and then flows but give her the dignity she deserves as a 16 yr old and dont belittle her!. best wishes Tom.UK
