If the onset of puberty is the cause of your older daughter’s bedwetting, then it may last only a few months or it may continue until her body reaches it’s full adult growth; it just depends on when her bladder growth catches up with the rest of her body. If she wets most nights you might suggest that she use protection, but if she only wets occasionally you might just use a waterproof bed pad with a folded towel over it. The bed pad can be replaced during the night which is quicker and easier than changing the sheets. Although you may make suggestions, the final decision on whether to wear protection to bed should be left to your daughter.
