Cheryl: Seems like with all the commentary and advice, noone answered you question directly. That is "Has anyone else tried this"? Of course, Cheryl, others have tried this, and many other combinations to keep a child under the circumstances warm and most importantly comfortable. Thus I for one do not understand your question. Firstly, you Cheryl are mom and you must without hesitation set the tone for what you wish to accomlish. You can do so with considering the girls and explaining the situation with them sitting down with you and Dad. Right now, there is a consensus to try to solve the matter with anything but using personal protection, or to be specific, the "d" word(diapers). Perhaps that is the answer you are looking for in your post. Nevertheless, I do not comprehend why you agree with youself to generate all that laundry day-by-day when other means are available to the girls. By the way, I consider pull-ups a diaper without using the word for the icon. Same for Goodnights, if either works. But one might find better protection available to a parent when the pull-up leaks or is without sufficient absorbancy. Didn't mean to digress, but keeping the bed dry and comfortable should be your primary consideration, in my opinion, and using whatever means possible to meet the need....mr j
