Cheryl Good questions. 1st diapers they were disposable I think they were pampers I remember they used to sit on my dresser in an orange box I think. I was not what you would call a heavy wetter I just went once a night only problem I didn't get up to go :( disposables were enough for me. And for teasing I don't remember getting teased. There weren't any other children my age at that time. I was 9 that summer all the cousins and sibs were younger the oldest of the other children was 4. I was closest to my aunt jenn who was 13 at the time. I had been assimilated in to my mothers family at birth and jenny and were bonded as sisters. Mom told me that we booth cried for days when we were separated. that summer we saw each other for the first time in 3 years that is longest we have ever been apart to this day. I Was concerned she had grown up without me she was 13 and I thought she would think I am just a little kid. I was worried about a lot of things like what would older kids think if they saw mom help me with my bath or if they saw me with a diaper on. everything worked out fine and jenny and I reconnected and we are close to this day. There was no teasing from any of the older kids. My mom, grandmother and jenny are very protective so any teasing would have been stooped right away. teasing is a very real concern I was with my own family and everyone was aware of my problem and how it was to be handled but around others or strangers teasing was always a concern.
