More good questions. During that summer trip my mom put my diaper on about 30 minutes to an hour before bed. Mom liked to get all 3 of us ready at the same time the two younger sibs went straight to bed. I stayed up with the older kids and watched one last show on television. after that I got in bed with jenny and we would talk about 30 to 40 minutes before falling asleep. Having a diaper put on is OK if by your own mom or close family but I was just a little uncomfortable with anyone else. There was a time after that mom dropped me off at her friends for the night and told them they needed to put a diaper on for bed. at bedtime they told me I needed a diaper and asked if I put it on my self. I thought for a second and said yes I could I was almost 10 by then. I just layed down on the bathroom floor and put it on that easy. after that I just put a diaper on my self when required and that was a whole lot less stressful for me. I am modest even to this day so I didn't want lay down like that for just anyone not even moms closest friends. today there are more products available that are easier for a child to manage themselves. I will admit that I was babied by my mother and she tended to baby me more than all her other kids. even today she brings me chicken soup and takes care of me when I am sick. She don't make it her self she buys it at a restaurant in town where they have homemade soup. its just nice to be taken care of sometimes. Steph :)
