Want to say thanks to everybody for their ideas, suggestions and thoughts. We have decided to get a bed wetting alarm and use it on the twins one at a time, we have been looking at web sites and reading comments about using the alarms and talked to 2 or 3 companies on the phone and there seems to be a fair success rate. So we will make up our minds shortly and order one of the alarms. Steph, As I have read and shared your emails with my hubby we both have the same thoughts. My husband never wet at night, my brother sister and I had night time accidents that happened every once in awhile, according to mom it happened mostly because we were sick or overtired. But unlike you we wet maybe once a month or less and for that mom kept a plastic sheet on our beds, this went on until I was between 12 & 13. When we were first married we went to vistit one of my husbands cousins in another state and we got there in the middle of a warm summer afternoon and everybody was in the back yard. We went around to the back yard and were seated around a picnic table talking with the cousin and his wife and were introduced to the kids 3 girls ages 8, 7 and 5. I had noticed when we walked into the back yard that there were a numer of cloth diapers hanging on the clothes line along with a few pair of what looked like very heavy training pants, I would find out later that they were overnight pants, also there were plastic pants hanging on the line and they were in 3 different sizes. We stayed for supper and after supper the wife and I did the dishes and talked, she said she would have to excuse herself for a few minutes after the dishes were done to get teh younger kids ready for bed. She then explained to me that the kids were all bedwetters and the 2 younger one were put into triple diapers and plastic pants and the older one wore the bedwetter pants with plastic pants over them. The diapering was done in private the kids said goodnight to us and then went with their mother to their rooms where I imagine they were made ready for bed. So maybe the bedwetting came from his side of the family or mine we don't know. Anyway we are goin to try the alarm with the twins to see how we do. Will keep you posted. Thanks for all of you answers they have been greatly appreciated and have made it a little easier.
