Ok tom I was not making the point all old men are lecherous I am trying to bring the 14 year old point of view. I don’t think all old men are looking at young girls for padding or diapers but it is interesting you would say that was it a Freudian slip? As fore the doctor’s explanation what he said was it might be the onset of puberty that’s a long way from a firm diagnoses. Often time’s doctors will say something like that when they can’t explain. They don’t like to say they don’t know they teach you that in med school never say you don’t know. With the onset of puberty comes fear and confusion it is perfectly understandable that a girl wants on one hand to retreat to childhood and innocence. While at the same time wanting to move forward and start her life as a woman. The 14 year old has to contend with new feelings, boys, Relationships, Periods, cramping, and PMS her 10 year sister has wet beds and pull-ups. It is reasonable to assume that the 14 year old would be attracted to the things that represent innocence and a time when things were not so complicated. I never said they should not ware protection I said that a girl that age would be concerned with appearance because she is becoming a woman. A 14 year old is becoming sexual. And no I don’t believe a 14 year old should be having sex!!! I’m just pointing out the fact that they do have a sex drive by nature at that age and it influences how they see things.
