Check out a few sites on encopresis. I have found one to be particularly informative and fit my situation. I am planning to order the Clean Kid manual soon. My daughter, 7 years old, has been having this problem for 4 years now, with no real answer from doctors other than stool softeners. This site is really informative, and gave me some VERY BADLY NEEDED sympathy for my daughter. Good luck - you are not alone!!
