Hello kids, and everyone else. My daughter is 6 1/2 and wears Goodnites to bed everynight. We are going to try an alarm. Please tell your parents THIS IS A MEDICAL PROBLEM. If your parents are punishing you for this problem, they need to know that scientists have discovered a hormone in our bodies (I forget the exact name of this particular hormone) that is produced at night to decrease the amount of urine our bodies make while we sleep. Some kids' bodies don't properly make this hormone. I have a friend who's niece was a bedwetter - she is 13 - and her doctor started her on this hormone given through her nose as a nasal spray. Guess what!!! She doesn't wet the bed anymore. Her body didn't produce enough of this hormone, and by putting it into her body with the nasal spray, it reduced the amount of urine her body was producing every night. I'm sorry you are experiencing such sadness - please try to get your parents to read about enuresis at the library, on the internet, or have them ask your doctor about it. Hi my name is Stacy and i am 7 years old and i wet the bed sometimes,i dont wake up because i be all the way sleep so that makes me pee in the bed my mom has to wash the sheets when i pee in the bed and i am sad i dont get to watch tv on the next day,the next day i dont wet the bed and get to watch tv,sometimes my mom gets upset at me,and says Stacy you must get up out ofthe bed and go to the potty,the bed is not a potty,from Stacy ,i need help to.

Hi everyone...I am the mother of two and one wets the bed (girl-age 6) only during the night. We keep encouraging her to keep up the good work on her dry nights. We bought her a bedwetting alarm which consists of a sensor attached to the outside of her underwear and the alarm is attached by velcro to her shoulder. When the sensor feels any moisure at all, the alarm wakes her up and she finishes going in the toilet. She has done very well with this. In 1 month she only woke 3 times to the alarm; she remained dry the other times. I am also a full-time nursing student (in my junior year) and I am doing some research on this subject. I am trying to make people aware that this is a medical problem, not a lazy problem. The children that are wetting the beds are not lazy, they are ashamed and upset that this is happening to them. I would first suggest that your parents take you to the doctor about this to rule out any serious medical problems. Then the doctor will suggest some methods of treatment that could be right for you. There is also medication that may help. NO child should be punished for wetting the bed!! I wish all of you luck.

My name is Justin. I am six. Sometimes I wet my pants at school. And I wet my pull-ups in bed. I feel bad. Then at school I forget about wetting my bed and then I go home and then I feel good. But when I wet my pants at school I feel bad. Sometimes I try to hide my wet pants and not tell my mom about it.
