Wow, we finally had a warm weekend. Maybe winter is on the way out! My daughter Morgan was enjoying playing outside with her friends for a change. Then she came running in running for the bathroom. She had clearly wet her pants. She said she couldn't hold it. This is upsetting to me because last summer I had the same problem several times with her. She would be playing outside and couldn't be bothered to come in to go pee. We had her checked for a UTI which was negative. Only calling her in at a set interval put an end to it. Well until now that is. And I know one accident doesn't mean she will start up again. But!! I want to prevent this from happing. I took TV away for two days as punishment. So my question is, does this kind of punishment work? -or- Should I go back to calling her in every 90 minutes to pee? I feel she should be responsible and not have to be reminded.Thanks...Cindy

My son has just started university and still wears protection. I am not here to ask for advice. I know that my son has a disability, and even if he could do something about it, which he probably can't, it's not up to me any more to tell him what to do.He's a young adult and the decision has passed to him.

I guess I should clarify my last post.My 4 yr.old is now still in diapers. We have not really pushed this issue ,as we still have an older one with a bedwetting problem. Our 4 yr.old attends a pre-school where the kids are aloud too wear diapers .My concern is what the school will say when He turns 5 this spring and goes to Kindergarten,in the fall.Has anyone experience with kindergarten kids going to school in diapers? How will the school react ,and can they keep him out because he's not potty trained. The older one is 14 ,and we have his issues under controll however:when he was his brother's age ,we tried training him quick so he would be diaper free before he started school ,and we ended up having major set backs.I don't want that again.Would it be best to homeschool?
