I'm a 35 year old bedwetter.I use pin on cloth diapers covered by plastic pants to protect the bed.I have a question regarding an idea of mine to make your own plastic sheets to protect the bed from bedwetting.Some time ago I bought a roll of 4 mil plastic sheeting from the hardware store and cut off several sheets.Every week I put a different plastic sheet on the bed so I don't wear out any one sheet.My thinking is that the hardware store plastic is thicker than the vinyl mattress covers you buy in the stores and will last longer.When I was a child,my mother used the same type of plastic on my bed to protect it.The only drawback is that the plastic makes a heavy "crinkling" sound,but after a while you get used to it(although my girlfriend couldn't and slept in another bed).I am curious to know other peoples thinking on the subject-does anyone else use heavy plastic like this to protect the bed from bedwetting?Do any parents use this?Also,how do people who are married or involved in relationships deal with a situation like this? Any thoughts would be appreciated.

I have been having trouble with incontinence for almost 6 years now. It started out minor and has become a major deal with ny life. At the urging of my wife, I went to several doctors who have helped very little. The only thing that has helped is a drug called DDAVP. It controls the severity of my wetting, but I still have to wear a diaper. When I go off the drug, though, I wet really bad. It's good to use on days or nights when I can change very often. When not on this drug, I'm in disposable diapers at day and cloth diapers with plastic pants at night. My wife has accepted this but really wishes I was not in diapers. It's just something I've accepted and am ready to do the rest of my life. My only option is to have major surgery and use a catheter to empty my bladder. It's not worth the pain of going through that. I'd rather wear diapers. Thanks for hearing my story, and a wonderful site.

Hi all,I need to wear naps 24/7, as I have a physical disability and as a result, am not aware of when I need to do wees. Prior to that however, I was catheterising (draining my bladder regularly with a tube) but unfortunately I was not staying dry in between. I am reliant on others to change me and I am also incontinent of the bowel.

I have noticed when going into a drug store if you ask a clerk for incontience products or adult diapers you get a very rude look and a wave of the hand, "they are over there" I was noticed once in public wearing diapers and got gawked at and I was wondering, are adult diapers a social taboo? is this some dark secret I am suposed to keep? I wear the bulkey attends diapers, medium and I wonder if outher people have this problem too?

hi three days ago i woke up to find that my boyfriend 22years old had wet are bed.we went to the doctor to find out that all the flu & cold he had made his body & worn out.that he just sleeps through the night with out waking up.he gave us some medicence for him to take & told him use protection to bed.we went home talk about it.we decieded for him to wear diapers to bed.it's the only chiose for all night hevey protection.so i went out bought him some to wear to bed that night.i feel bad for him to have to wear diapers at night.but it keep are bed dry.i like to hear from you women out there with husbands and boyfriends that has to use diapers at night or all the time.tell me how you feel about it and how your dealing with it.dose it bother your sex life anyway.it feels weird to me making love to him .then have to powder& diaper him latter for better fit & protection.help me please how do you deal with your men in diapers. women to women .i love him his name is james.

hello I have to wear nappies 24/7 because when I was a child I had two very bad illnessers I was in and out of hospital from when I was 11years old till I was 15years old.I still have to visit the hospital once a year for my chech up.I do not go out much because I have to wear a nappy all the time and trying to get a girlfrend is impossible any girl who wounld like to chat I wound be gratefull. thank you Mark.

I have been dating this guy on and off for almost a year and the other night i stayed at his house. Things didn't go well that night and I fell asleep upset. It was raining out and I remember being happy that I could fall asleep listening to it. At around 5am I woke up after having a horrible nightmare(i remember there being water in the nightmare).. I instantly knew to check beneath me for a puddle, even though I have never wet the bed before......even as a child. A puddle was indeed there. I jumped up and ran to the bathoom and then threw up(turns out I had a 24 hour bug). I didn't know what to do, i was so embarrassed. I finally went back into the room and woke the guy. He was half asleep but he quickly got up and we took the sheets off the bed. He made up the couch in his room and urged me to go to sleep. he laid with me at first...back turned, and then got up and slept in another room. later that morning when we woke up he was not very communicative and I hurried to get ready and get out of there. I apologized, and tried to make jokes to make it easier on both of us.....but he wasn't responsive. He knew I was sick and he didn't even bother to call me last night or today to make sure I was ok. Haha as mortifying as it was to wet a bed other then my own, this boy seemingly deserved it as he does not know how to treat someone who went through something embarrassing like this. If it was the other way around I would have done everything in my power to make him feel comfortable and make him laugh. I mean, accidents happen. I have been under a lot of stress lately, and I was just really sick. Is it possible these were the reasons for my random accident?

Eric thanks for the hope and faith you giving.but i been incontience for three years now off and on. i stil have to wear diapers 24/7 for bladder control due to servre infections.i have no control of my bladder.so diapers are needed there only thing that work. i some time thing everybody else got better acept me.since eric is the only one that answers my bulletin.i'm tired buying and embaressment of needing diapers.i really hate wearing them but i need them.i havin't had a relationship in three years due to my problem. iam takeing cramberry & horse hair for my problem. i hope it works soon still no control.i need help ansdwer my bulletion soon please.let me hear for women and men with the same problem.that reads this web site soon. losing hope
