I have so called overactive bladder. I get strong sudden urges to pee, especially if I get scared or nervous. At those times I have to run to the bathroom and worrying that I might not make it in time. If I don’t find it in next couple of minutes I end up wetting myself.I don't know if this is the right place for something like that, but I would like to meet a woman over 25 y/o with bladder control problems from Australia. Lenny, I followed your suggestions as well as I could last night. I was largely successful, though I can't find Molicare Super Plus here in Saudi Arabia. My bed was only a little wet, and I just needed to put a thick towel over the wet area for the rest of the night! Thanks for the tips. (I have, in fact, just ordered a bed pad and am just awaiting delivery.)Pat, I will look out for the booster pads when I'm in England in the next few days. I have been a bed-wetter pretty well all my life. I wear nappies and plastic pants, but since I live in a block of flats on a compound, and we have communal washing machines and dryers, I usually wear disposables. (I can't secretly dry cloth nappies. In any case, they get ruined in dryers.) My question is : Are there disposables which, with plastic pants, really keep the bed dry? I am in the process of drying my bedsheet from last night, even though I had on my plastic pants and disposables. This is a very regular occurence.

Hello. I am 40 living in Montana now have never had a dry bed, so i dont know what it is like. I learned that kids in younger years can be cruel, as I found out in a private high school (years 9-12 grades). I was put into a military boarding school during these years.I earned many nicknames there, like "Yellow Rivers, by I Pee Daily ******.(Last name ommited). Let me tell you, this just hurt.I had to put on and wear diapers every night, but they didnt alway stop leaking, so sometime, i woke to a wet bed. If this happened, I had to change the bed clothes prior to first call in AM which was at 6:45AM. After HS, i went to college and then on to a trade school. I am now in an upper management position with lots of responsibility. Many peoples lives depend on my department.Since I have to do a lot of internation travel, I pack diapers. At first, i thought security would expose the diapers to the other employees I work with, but soon found out they are descrete about screening. Now I dont worry about, and now have realized, just cause i have to wear diapers at night, so what...everyone has some kind of problem...mine just happens to be wetting the bed. hi i'am 31 years old i quit wearing diapers for about a month do to takeing medince that worked.but december i had the flu 2 times that month.it caused me to have servre bladder infection.which caused me to have no control of my bladder.so i'am back in diapers mybe for good.the problem is i'am takeing oil of oregeno for internal in fection.it 's causeing my stomach tobe upset and now i'am messing my diapers.so any body out there please let me hear from you help me. I'm really at wits end and I don't know where else to turn for help. I recently had my boyfriend move in with me, and he shared his secret that he wets the bed at night. I love him to peices, but he doesn't even try to help himself. He tried to hide it, and it went a week before I even noticed that my matress was soaked on his side of the bed. He sleeps in his clothes, so I tend to use 3-4 times extra detergent just to get things clean. The smell never wants to come out. I've tried to talk to him about it, and I washed the bed, and the blankets, and bought him disposable diapers and put a water-proof liner on the bed, but he tends to not wear them, and to make matters worse, he will cover the bed in the morning with our blanket. I can't afford to do 30 dollars in laundry a week, and im embaressed to have to keep going to the laundry mat with urine soaked linens. What can I do to help him wear his diaper to bed? and what can I do to encourage him not to cover things up in the morning. It's very hard on me, and I don't appreciate having to act like his mother and clean up after him. I love him with all my heart, but I can't go on this way. We only have a full size materess, and his deep sleeping often makes him roll on to my side of the bed and pee. I recently started sleeping on the couch, but I feel like I am hurting his feelings. To all bedwetters:try not drinking any fluids after 5 or 6 pm. That should leave your bladder mostly empty...and also make yourself go to the bathroom before going to bed. Hope this helps all of you. Also... some of you may have a want to check out symptoms of a bladder infection. It causes you to have to use the bathroom much more frequently.
